According to the TresSugar.com article, BeautifulPeople.com Dumps Members for Gaining Holiday Weight, the dating site BeautifulPeople.com has dropped 5,000 members because they’ve gained too much weight.  Apparently to receive an invite into the dating network, you must have a certain amount of existing members consider you “attractive”.  The 5,000 users that were dropped had recently uploaded new pictures to their profile that were flagged as being unattractive by other members…thus leading to their removal.

Sounds pretty ridiculous to us.  When a female Leftos user asked, “In a first impression how do guys feel about girls who carry extra weight?“, many men responded by saying that it’s not as big of a deal as some may think.  It makes us wonder if BeautifulPeople.com is a good site to meet people in the first place.
